December Dip for Suicide Prevention

I'm fundraising for...

I’m already dipping each week in December so I’ve decided to do it for a cause. I’ll continue to swim around in the cold water this month to raise funds for the charity To Write Love On Her Arms, an organization dedicated to helping people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. 


TWLOHA uses the proceeds from donations to bring hope and help to millions of people online and thousands of people in-person at events. It also involves supporting their annual campaigns (like World Suicide Prevention Month), programs for high school and college students, and events that make it possible for the organization to combat the stigma and connect people to local, affordable mental health resources. The funds raised keep their FIND HELP Tool operating and expanding as they add new mental health providers to their database as well.

28° air (and no wind) 45° water (and flat calm) 10 mins of swimming. Dipping in the presence of my parents today! 💚 This one is dedicated to all people struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. And even if you’re not struggling currently…if you are doing well right now (like I am, thank god…keeping depression at bay 🌊) this is for you too.
