I've decided to do a December Dip in cold water to raise funds for the charity To Write Love On Her Arms so they can help prevent suicide. I'd be delighted if you made a donation to support me, my challenge and give hope and help to people who really need it this holiday season. Wednesday 27th Nov If I had stopped when I tried to stop, down the road a ways, I would never have known this beautiful life existed. I couldn’t see it from where I was. Dropping seeds wherever, never expecting to be there to watch them flower and bloom.What a shame that would have been! I have discovered this beautiful garden that only needed a little more effort and a little more time to truly become itself.
How many memories that I treasure now would have been ignored. Left lonesome in the world to never be praised and had pictures taken of them so that I’ll never forget that I was there at that moment to truly appreciate it.
Just a little more effort and a little more time, that’s all that was needed of me. And I didn’t think I could do it. Being taken off the door like a picture off the wall, stinging glue into wounds, truly looking at myself and discovering how worthy I am and what I am really capable of.
Every single day is worth so much more than I can express now that I can finally appreciate each season and how it changes the beautiful flowers by the river. How precious it is, how precious I am, how precious you are.
